What Is Solapel™?

Solapel™ is our PFC-free durable water repellent technology. It can maintain 70% efficiency even after 120 washes, equivalent to 24 hours of continuous washing.
Solapel™ minimizes contamination of chemicals into the environment by maintaining most DWR chemicals on the textile after laundering.

How Does Solapel™ Work?

The main purpose of a DWR treatment is to provide higher surface tension for the fabric, so the falling water droplets do not stay on the fabrics’ surface, but fall off instead.
Solapel™ is an excellent water repellent collection because it can provide a high contact angle and surface tension for a fabric’s surface.
