This series is aimed to protect industrial workers from short-term thermal exposure to fire and spatter. Our FR Fabrics are certified by multiple flashfire standards including NFPA 2112, EN ISO 11612, and EN ISO 11611. Sunny Special flame retardant fabrics are constructed by inherent flame retardant fiber, which makes the fabric flame retardant without any chemical treatments.

The fabrics can also be applied with water-repellent treatment in order to possess molten iron splash protection and reach the level of EN ISO 11612 E2.

This classic flame-resistant fabric, with inherent FR and antistatic fibers, is categorized as lightweight and breathable, which makes it suitable for shirts and jackets.

We choose Inherent FR fabric instead of treated FR fabric to build your workwear because Inherent FR properties are built into the fiber naturally and cannot be washed out or worn away. Hence, you get a more durable fabric with a longer lifespan and a better value.
