The importance of dyeing and finishing plants

Did you know that before printing, the fabric needs to be finished by the dyeing and finishing factory? Whether it's natural cotton, wool, man-made fabric, nylon, or polyester, the original fabric color is not pure white. If you want to print beautiful colors, you need to refine the cloth into white and flatten the processing before sending the cloth to print, so that you can make clean and tidy cloth when printing.

Common fabric printing methods

Common printing methods on fabric are divided into three types, thermal sublimation transfer printing, roller mesh printing, and digital printing.

Let's understand how they are formed!

1. Thermal sublimation transfer printing

The most common is paper transfer printing. First print the pattern on the paper through heat sublimation to transfer the ink to the cloth. The printed color and print will not fade due to multiple washing. After printing on the cloth, the cloth surface is still smooth and soft. Dye sublimation transfer enables more creative and complex designs.

2. Roller mesh printing

Roller mesh printing is like making prints, just like overlapping stamps on the same piece of paper, so it is suitable for use in simple color block patterns. Roller mesh printing color requires a screen plate, so the number of colors is more limited. When checking printing,it’s also prone to some differences. Very detailed pictures are prone to flaws and can not print gradient color. The advantage is that the roller mesh printing color is more saturated, and it can also be printed quickly in large quantities.

3. Digital printing

Digital printing is in the way of inkjet, the digital file of the pattern requires high requirements, and needs sufficient resolution. Otherwise, there will be a problem with the digital grid. The inkjet method of coloring is suitable for making gradient colors, complex and detailed drawings, and customization.
